So I've had my braces in for about 2 months now and things have been going well. The first week for me was the hardest to adjust to because I couldn't eat solid foods at all (mashed potatoes from Popeyes were my best friend), also it was a little achy for a few days. My next appointment is coming up in about 2 weeks and i'm supposed to find out when I can remove my 4 teeth to make space in my mouth for the rest of those little guys to move into place. I guess I will also get a tightening and elastic then maybe. Well as promised i'll post some pics for you guys to see as well as the x-rays I took before the braces went in (just for fun :p).
Greetings and salutations my lovelies! Well it's quick update time again...so yours trully is getting braces in another month. I did my orthodonic consultation a few days ago and didn't realize before then how much I trully needed them (or in my mind I think I do). Kinda nervous about it cause i've been running from them for 9 years now (because I was afraid of looking 'ugly' or 'nerdy'), but i've decided to bite the bullet and get it done. Two years of suffering will be worth straight, awesome teeth I figure. If any of you has ever had braces before feel free to leave comments with any suggestions or thoughts you may have on wearing them. I'll post pics when I get them done as well. :)
I purchased the Conair Spin Brush a couple months ago and decided to try it out a couple times before I did a review on it. I can say for sure this is one of my favourite things to use when styling my hair now. It makes my hair feel so soft and gives it volume at the same time while drying, just as if I had it done in a salon. After I wash my hair I use L'oreal Studio Heat Seeker Straightening Cream, Agadir Oil Argan Oil Spray and Pantene Heat Protectant Spray for Fine Hair when my hair is damp then air dry until it is 3/4 dry, then I use the spin brush to style.
Here are some before and after pics:

Happy New Year to everyone!! Sorry to be lagging on the update about the tattoo, been up and about this Christmas and New Years. Here are photos of my tattoo (yay a feather!). Hope everyone had fun this holiday season. I had such a blast, it was by far one of the best holidays i've had in such a long time. Hope you guys like. :D
Hello lovelies! It's been quite a while but I've found some time on my work break to do a little update for you guys.
So for those who are close to me may know, I have one tattoo that I got a few years back and since then I've been planning on getting my second one. It's been a long time coming but I've finally decided on getting something simple yet meaningful to me.
I wanted something to represent the rough patch in my life that I went through when I was in my teens as well as the recent problems I have had to overcome last year. Now that things are better I would like this to commemorate just being 'free' and being currently in a happy time.
Hopefully I will get it done on this upcoming weekend and will post pics. As for those wondering what exactly the tattoo is i'll keep it a secret till then. :)
Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas/ Winter season so far wherever you are. I know I'm excited for Christmas, especially since I get to see my significant other and be around my close family and friends.
P.S- For those of you going through any problems now, whatever they may be remember that things will eventually get better, just stick it out a little longer.
I was passing through the local mall today (Sovereign Centre) and saw a sale going on at Gabriella's Cosmetic outside so I decided to stop and pick up a few items. Always loved Body Shop products so this was definately a good deal for me. I purchased Pink Grapefruit body scrub and shower gel, Passion Fruit shower gel, Mango glycerin soap, and a Coconut lip butter (which should be applied lightly as it will turn your lips a bit chalky if applied too much). I love how all of these scents smell but the Mango is my favourite!
